Phantom is a comic hero created by Thomas Ott, a cartoonist who has made a name for himself with very gloomy stories. Phantom is a rather puny teenager, made all the more pitiful by his superhero outfit, but he fully accepts the ludicrousness of his situation and displays an astonishing ability to stand back and laugh at himself. He is fully capable of assessing his own powerlessness in the face of adversity and the wickedness of his fellow creatures. But while other teenagers try to escape from reality when something upsets them, he faces it and gets his own back on things which are even smaller than he is. Let whoever has never done this unmask him!
