Gipsy is a Rambo-style character from the Arctic continent of the 21st century. Like his American model, Gipsy has a body-builder's physique, black hair tamed with a red headband, and an unusual skill at clinching rough fights. But Gipsy is a gypsy who defends his ethnic group rather than a country. With his huge lorry, he seeks his fortune on the C3C, an enormous motorway that links Europe, Asia and America through the ice field of a new ice age. With a cheerful and cheeky disposition, Gipsy deals with completely liberated women, and he treats them as such, to the despair of his younger sister, whom he should have sent to study in a Swiss school. Despite the subzero temperature, the scriptwriter Smolderen and the cartoonist Marini succeed again and again in creating an atmosphere which is hot in every respect.
